History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Gerard was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bellfounder. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
