Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'1". He is typically in his Laborer uniform, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.
Personality: Nicholas hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has worked as a Laborer like his mother before him.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has moderate length brown hair. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Trym was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality
