Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. John enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: This northern man wears dull black sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hammer, just in case. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He very much looks the part of a Shipwright. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. This violet eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is fixated on the number 17. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Laborer. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

Description: He wears a tan vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars, and carries falchions. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
