History: Born in the south to a Carter, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Bernard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
