Description: He likes to wear yellow tank tops with red pants, and carries axes. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His white hair is lengthy. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is typically in his Merchant uniform. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His childhood dream was to be a Sellsword, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy auburn stubble. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a hunchback. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Gilbert began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.
