The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He was born in the north. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
