History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Heward was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
