His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dean is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Tim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
