Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he usually wears his black robe and has his trident always slung over his shoulder. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Architect for hire.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Glassblower and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.

History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.
