Description: He usually wears his brown robe and has his ceremonial dagger always slung over his shoulder. He carries with him a set of ceremonial daggers on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A 5'10" southern man, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a pastel suit, tan shirt, and black tie. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. He is baby faced.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. A true patriot, Arnold would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears an entirely white suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His head has been shaved. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Recently the stress of being a Layabout has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He wears a suit in poor condition. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Dustin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He is a husky man, who tends to wear a large brown jacket. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His ears are large.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Blacksmith, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and an old rival family wants him found
