Personality: He is fixated on the number 61. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Carter again.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Chad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
