History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Blacksmith, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries with him a set of crossbows on his belt, each one with a amber on the hilt. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This man stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break
