He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Alex's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Alex was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. William grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did William. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
