History: Gifted from a young age, Gerald studied abroad. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a green vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his green boots flare out at the collars. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
