Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. A true patriot, Jocelyn would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Jocelyn has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Priest. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
