Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'6" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is short and blonde. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Ernest is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born in the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a violet suit, black shirt, and pastel tie. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the left. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After months of barely getting by, Heward managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Priest who has hired him part-time. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and wants his loneliness to end
