Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Manfred was born the youngest of three triplets. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Manfred never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
