History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Healer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and revenge
