History: Born in the west to a Barkeep, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
