History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Simon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
