History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Geoffrey was taken on many hunting expeditions. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
