History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Assassin, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is black and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Personality: Conrad speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
