History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

History: Born to a Beggar, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
