History: He was born in a small island village. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Theodoric was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Farmer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
