Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Brewer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he's in love

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born in the south to a Fortune-teller, Robert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.
