He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gomory and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Carter who has hired him part-time. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Don lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: Jocelyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
