History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arnold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arnold. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Alexandre was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Charles was born with his father's beautiful face. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
