Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Simon embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Being a Hunter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. His head has been shaved. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He takes great joy in being the best Farmer in town.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Farmer and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his shortspear with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
