History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Doctor for hire.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Gifted from a young age, Adelard studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelard. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
