Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
