Description: He stands about 5'7" and wears a red tunic with blue highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around his shoes. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He is physically well-built. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lance embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'0". He typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. His hair is short and red. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. He has green eyes and a pastel hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
