History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Farmer father left him crippled. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
