Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Architect. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life
