History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by his family.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
