When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Drogo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Drogo's homeland. Drogo decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has never given up on his painting dream.
