Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was a Jeweler, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He struck the Adventurer job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Ernest wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He got into the Ploughman business at a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He became a Ploughman soon after.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Tanner, his father struggled to pay the bills. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
