Description: This man wears an entirely blue suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His silver hair is lengthy. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by giants. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his falchion with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His silver hair is long and unkept. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Anthony enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for him, and Clerebold does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Clerebold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he wants revenge against gnolls
