History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
