Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He carries with him a set of kukris on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has green eyes and a green hat with a blue feather.

Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he has a crush on the local seamstress

Description: He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Theodoric was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bricklayer. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and an old rival family wants him found

He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Arnold was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Ideals: Athletic. Flaws: Shy. Bonds: Adventurer, Poor, Job. Occupation: Miller
