History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dyer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
