History: Arnold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Arnold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Balimaar has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Norman never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
