Justin Van Es, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. His hair is short and silver. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Gifted from a young age, Justin studied abroad. When Justin reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Justin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
