History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adam's homeland. Adam decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

During his travels, Alex and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Alex discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
