History: Born to a Knight, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor.
