After coming to the age of reason, Gerard took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
