History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
