His hair is long and black with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Heward liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hunter grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is a Painter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
