History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Heward was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heward's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Heward and his spouse have recently divorced.
