Through the years after Percival was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Percival's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
