He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heward was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Server. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense.
